The components of the system are as follows:

(2) 20” Giant cartridge filter housings with a white talc polypropylene head and clear styrene bowl. Housings have a 100 PSI at 125 Degree F pressure rating and have been tested by the standards of the Water Quality Association for burst pressure, water tightness and fatigue resistance. They are fitted with a Buna-N O-Rings and a positive stop to prevent over tightening and include a built in pressure relief valve.

(1) 4 1/2” diameter x 20” lg 20 micron pleated polyester sediment removal filter cartridge which has 25% more dirt holding capacity than a pleated paper cartridge. It can be cleaned up to 3 times before replacement is necessary. It is important to keep the pre-filter clean to protect the carbon filter.

(1) 4 1/2” Diameter x 20” lg 3 micron coconut shell activated carbon filter cartridge which combines high chlorine reduction capacity with low pressure drop for excellent whole house taste and odor control. For home filtration of city water a single housing with the carbon filter is adequate.

(3) Pressure gauges to monitor pressure drop and cleanliness of each filter separately.

3/4” FNPT bushings on the inlet and outlet for attachment of a 3/4” fitting.

Specially fitted housing wrench for easy removal of the housing bowl.
